Girolamo Russo Etna Rosso San Lorenzo Piano Delle Colombe 750ML 2021

"Tre Bicchieri. One of the best wines tasted this year. Piano delle Colombe is a small parcel set within the San Lorenzo cru, on the northern sloaps of the volcano. The nerello mascalese cultivated here gives rise to a truly world-class pour. Haematic notes and iron merge with whiffs of underbrush and pepper, the prelude to a graceful, flowing, incredibly fresh and deep palate. A masterpiece."-Gambero Rosso
