Description

James Suckling: 93

"This is a spicy and earthy red with aromas of ripe dark berries, walnuts, licorice and Chinese five spice. It’s medium- to full-bodied with a medium-chewy tannin frame and a lightly chalky texture. Long, compact and savory finish. Unfiltered. Drink from 2025."

Wine Spectator: 93
"Developing nicely, this red delivers fading cherry and plum fruit, along with leather, spice, iron and tobacco aromas and flavors. A supportive structure keeps this focused through the mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2040."

Wine Enthusiast: 90
"On the nose, tart black cherries and blood orange sparkle above a savory, earthy foundation of balsamic, damp soil and fresh coffee. The palate runs with the fruit flavors, but a persistent coffee note flows smoothly into a dark chocolate finish. Acid splashes against taut tannins."
