Old Raj Description

Old Raj gin has been produced for us since 1972 and is available at 46% and 55% abv. Bottling takes place in Campbeltown. This quality floral gin has a slight yellow tint due to the addition of the saffron. This valuable and rare ingredient is added post distillation.

Botanicals - Juniper, Coriander, Seville orange peel, Liquorice, Angelica root, Orris, Cinnamon, Cassia Quills, Nutmeg and Saffron is added post distillation.

The 55% abv blue label is one of the strongest and most expensive gins on the market. Look for the trademark faint yellowish-saffron tinge and herbal scent, with assertive pine and anise flavors and a tart lemony touch. Serve this overproof gin tamed with ice and lots of tonic.
