The Cerbaia estate, with 12 hectares of land and 4.5 of which under the Brunello appellation, is nestled on a slope in the Montosoli hill, one of the most favourable terroirs for Sangiovese in Montalcino. Second generation owner/winemaker Elena Pellegrini is also sister-in-law to Lorenzo Sassetti, of Livio Sassetti fame, who serves as consulting winemaker at the estate.
