As is often the case in riper vintages, there is a touch of the exotic lurking in the background of the aromas of white and yellow peach nuanced by hints of citrus confit and oyster shell. There is excellent size, weight and richness to the very generously proportioned and sappy larger-bodied flavors that quickly firm up on the very dry, compact and slightly rustic finale. In contrast to all of the prior wines, this will need at least a few years of cellaring to unwind.
