"As is almost always the case, this is the best wine in the Barat portfolio with its more elegant and more obviously Chablis-like nose of shellfish, algae and white and yellow orchard fruit aromas. There is notably better volume and density to the medium weight and solidly powerful flavors that possess reasonable intensity on the balanced and sneaky long finish. This should repay 5 to 8 years of keeping yet be approachable after only 2 to 3. Lovely and understated."-Allen Meadows
