Domaine Nerantzi - Assyrtiko 2024

Domaine Nerantzi Assyrtiko is an organic white wine from the Serres region of northern Greece, showcasing the Assyrtiko grape grown far from its traditional Santorini origins. Produced by Nerantzi Mitropoulos and his daughter Evanthia on their 15-hectare estate, the wine is crafted using natural fermentation and aged in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity. The vines grow in calcareous sandy-loam soils at nearly 1,000 feet elevation, yielding a wine with vibrant acidity, mineral character, and subtle salinity. Expect flavors of citrus, stone fruit, and green olive with an earthy minerality that sets it apart from island-grown Assyrtiko, making it an excellent companion to seafood and shellfish.
