This grows at a parcel of 50- year-old vines, the wine made from destemmed fruit and aged without racking for 16 months in barrels (35 percent new). It's a silken and elegant Vosne, yielding bright sour-cherry notes that ring with clarity against the lasting tannic spice. It feels modern and clean while still carrying a message from the clay-limestone soils.
