The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis La Riotte 1er Cru offers lucid red cherry, crushed strawberry and blood orange on the nose, coming across quite vibrant and almost Chambolle-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. This is not a deep or powerful wine and might need more grip, but I appreciate the balance and refinement on the finish. (Drink between 2020-2028)
