Aalto Pagos Seleccionados Ribera Del Duero 750ML 2020

Aalto PS (Pagos Seleccionada) is made only in the best vintages. It is sourced from Aalto?s best sites (Pagos) located near La Horra, La Aguilera, and Fresnillo villages. These vineyards are between 80?100 years old. This wine is aged entirely in new French oak for 18 months.

 Lots of depth here, with ripe blackberries and some nicely baked black cherries, roasted herbs, incense, dark spices, mussels and a balsamic tinge. An admirably fine dollop of tannins on the palate, which are immaculate and juicy, as they thoroughly dunk into the black fruit, melting into a persistent finish that lasts for over a minute. Very impressive.
