Chateau Brane Cantenac Bordeaux Blanc 2021 750ML

Globally renowned for its red wine, Bordeaux now produces white wines at approximately 70 different estates. From iconic names like Chateau Margaux's Pavillon Blanc, Mouton Rothschild's Aile d’Argent and Blanc de Lynch Bages there are a lot of newer high quality arrivals each vintage. Visiting annually, what was a small selection a few years ago, has grown into a category now. A huge fan of Brane Cantenac, I'm proud to introduce you to the 2021 Brane Cantenac "Blanc!" Their third vintage for this dry white, only 3600 bottles are produced. A blend of 72% Sauvignon Blanc and 28% Semillon fermented in oak barrels, it has texture but is not outwardly oaky. Exotic aromas and viscous texture announces its presence on your palate. A wine to swirl and smell several times, different aromas emerge with every moment. Pair it with langoustine ravioli for an outstanding experience. The press is starting to notice with Jane Anson posting a 94 point review.
