As Saint-Émilion's Premier Grand Cru Classé, Château Valandraud is one of the finest estates in the appellation. The vineyards of Château Valandraud are located on clay-limestone and siliceous-gravel soils. 6.6 hectares of vines are dedicated to producing this Saint-Émilion wine. The vines are on average 30 years old. Harvested by hand. Aged for 18 to 22 months in 100% new barrels. Merlot (88%) Cabernet Franc (6%) Cabernet Sauvignon (6%)
