Domaine De Montille Pommard Les Pezerolles 375ML 2023 - (Pre-arrival)

Decanter 95

"Fragrant and spicy, the forward plummy fruit aromas of de Montille's Pommard Pézerolles are invitingly moreish. The texture is softer and less angular than Taillepieds; the wine still has grip, but it is the density of fruit that is most striking. The grapes are from two parcels totalling 1.35ha. Three-quarters are from very old vines in Le Clos de Pézerolles, completely fermented as whole clusters; the balance from young vines (Les Plantes), which are destemmed. The combination marries fruit, structure, and density."-Charles Curtis, MW
