The Pas Saint Martin Saumur Rouge “La Pierre Frite” is a classic Loire red made from organically farmed Cabernet Franc. Grown on siliceous-limestone soils and raised in stainless steel, it’s all about fresh fruit and keeping things light on its feet. Expect bright red and dark berries, fresh herbs, a little pepper and soft, earthy tannins. This is the kind of Cab Franc that’s great with a charcuterie board, roast chicken or just a slight chill on its own.
