This is a terrific set of new releases from Ernest and sister label,Edaphos. As a reminder, Ernest is focused on the West Sonoma Coast, while Edaphos is a range of more experimental wines from various appellations. In recent years, winemaker Joseph Ryan has really dialed in his approach here. The wines offer tons of brightness and energy, but with a bit more depth and less of the austerity that sometimes penalized the wines. More recently, Ernest has acquired several prime sites in the West Sonoma Coast, making it now a true estate. The future looks very promising. - Antonio Galloni
