Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Allomi 750ML 2023

Producer Notes

On the nose, our Allomi Cabernet offers enticing aromas of currant, blackberry, and elegant expressions of lavender. Juicy black fruits are met with plush, well-integrated tannins, espresso, and a hint of oak spice.

James Suckling-95

"This widely available, generous and spicy wine offers fresh, tangy red fruit and deeper black fruit on a full body backed by moderate tannins. it's very accessible in taste and, for Napa Valley, in price. The red cherry, cedar, clove and vanilla bean flavors are delicious and lingering."

A full-bodied, nicely tannic and robustly flavored wine that's deep in black plum and black cherry notes, with ample dark chocolate, mocha and toast accents. So reasonably price for a Napa cab, and widely available. Smooth but supportive tannins around well-concentrated fruit flavors. Aged in 30% new American oak barrels. Drink now or hold.
