Michel Gay Beaune Toussaints Vieilles Vignes 750ML 2018

Producer Description:

Michel Gay produces wines in a very traditional style in terms of winemaking. Due to a magnificent work in the vineyards (mostly superb old vines) and a very careful harvest, the raw material is splendid. It is found in the bottle by this living, fleshy fruit, this brilliance of Pinot that is so sorely lacking in the majority of Burgundy, even from large estates. The Toussaint Premier Cru, little known, offers a very mineral expression of Beaune, with a touch of youthful austerity, but with a hold, a superb writing, denser than usual.
