"The current release of Moutard P?re et Fils ?Ros? de Cuvaison? is composed entirely from pinot noir, with the wine hailing from the base year of 2018 and disgorged in July of 2021, with a finishing dosage of ten grams per liter. It is a lovely salmon color and delivers a refined aromatic constellation of strawberry, a touch of blood orange, rhubarb, chalky soil tones, wheat bread and a touch of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and focused, with a good core, fine mineral drive and grip, elegant mousse and a long, complex and very nicely balanced finish. This is a very tasty bottle of Ros? that really shows the Aube?s similarity to the chalky minerality of Chablis."-John Gilman
