A riveting, full-bodied red teeming with ripe and satiny textures, opulent red, black, and blue-toned fruits, with graceful, velvety tannins and a host of complex aromas and flavours that begin with black cherry, spiced plum, toasted fennel, maple and toffee, and end with cassis, graphite, mulberry, and espresso beans. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is bright, precise and vibrant, with red/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, rose petal and blood orange. Medium in body and supremely polished, the 2021 is a super-elegant wine that also shows the more nuanced style favored here today. The 2021 is a blend of fruit from the Mount Veeder, Howell Mountain and Oakville estate properties.
