Sanford and Benedict vineyard, originally planted in 1971, was the first vineyard in what would become the Sta. Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County. A true cool-climate site with varied soils, "S&B" as we call it, is a world class source of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay known for producing wines of depth and complexity.
