Quinta da Muradella–this is too good to be true! Normally, this bottle would be far outside the price range of Vin-Picks. In fact, I remember placing a Quinta da Muradella on the list at Charlie Bird for well over $100. Well, we got this one on closeout, so the value here is immense. José Luis Mateo, the winemaker/owner, is known for his complicated wines that veer on the threshold of artistry. He is a constant (and perhaps eternal) experimenter, possessing an relentless curiosity and his wines are wholly unique. Brandon Borcoman
