Seabra Mono C Castelao 2021 750ML

A single varietal wine made from the Castelao grape. One of the most elegant Castelao wines you will find, it avoids the jamminess that sometimes characterizes the grape. This is supple and sweetly fruited, with fresh juicy red cherries and blueberry flavours. This has some nice grippy tannins, structure and a lovely vibrancy and personality. One to try if you like Gamay maybe!

With the Mono C, he is taking a look at a particular variety ? in this case, Castel?o. While Castel?o is a grape that is typically found further south in Portugal, Luis has found a mono-planted plot of the light-skinned grape in the Douro and is working his magic to craft a wine of unparalleled delicacy and elegance.
