A pleasing rye showing great depth in texture and flavor at 117 proof – surprisingly without heat.  Nosewise, rye spice up front with wintergreen, pine resin, blood orange, vanilla and some notes of baking spice. The palate sports chewy rye spice and citrus oil with sweet caramel, vanilla, and toffee underneath with Red Hots. The finish is persistent as flavors found on the palate pulse and fade.
