A soft texture with a herbaceous whiff . My palate was expecting a major hit of anise, but I was delighted to find a milder, tamed anise flavor complimented with botanical and spice notes. Unlike most absinthes I try, I never considered adding water, but the addition of H20 highlighted bright floral notes and cut the non-aggressive 120.2 proof down quite gracefully. - Brandon GTWC
