Founded in 2015 by Dr. Richard Hermann and his wife Freya Herman, 00 Wines is a family-owned and operated winery. They emigrated from Europe to the United States after World War II and settled in Willamette Valley, Oregon. That is where they became beloved professors and scientific researchers at Oregon State University. 00 Wines is a global luxury wine house specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir bottlings from Burgundy, Champagne, and Willamette Valley, Oregon. Today, their curious nature and unwavering precision are infused into the philosophy of 00 Wines by their son, Chris.

"Similar in appearance, the 2021 Chardonnay EGW (“Extra Good White”) takes on a touch more flinty reduction, with a great balance of ripeness and tension in its notes of ripe peach, lemon zest, and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, it has a beautiful waxy texture but the acidity to cleanse the palate. Citrus oils, almond, and more mouthwatering freshness can be found on its long finish along with a lacy note of custard."-Audrey Frick
