Le Clos Guillot is refined. With its aromas of sour cherries and black fruit, it can show characters of Pinot Noir sometimes. It has length and freshness. It can be enjoyed from 2 years in bottle and can age 10 to 15 years.

"Just outside the village, Clos Guillot sits on a slope on clay over limestone. The 2019 Chinon is a serious barrel sample that melts in your mouth with its silken texture. No crushing, very little remontage and a year in used barrels all lend a very gentle touch. The tannins build gradually, coating the mouth with the finest of chalky textures.
