Chateau de Lescours was originally built in 1341 by a squire of King Edward III. Today the estate is stewarded by Pierre Chariol, a dynamic 5th generation winemaker and passionate naturalist. The 18-acre estate is surrounded by a deep moat and set in the midst of a 100-acre forest, creating a unique microclimate.
"This is a ripe, perfumed wine. Aged in wood, it is full bodied, rich, complex and packed with black-plum flavors. The tannins are almost soft enough and this wine should be ready from 2021."-Roger Voss
