Coppo's 2021 Barolo is a big wine, especially in its peer group. Sumptuous red-toned fruit, blood orange, pomegranate, spice, espresso and new leather race across the palate. This ample Barolo packs a pretty serious punch. There's a lot of wine here. - Antonio Galloni
Rhubarb and strawberry jam rise first, layered with fresh thyme and tarragon, a trace of black tea, and sweet baking spice. Tart red fruits lead the way, while tannins strut with confidence, adding weight without overwhelming. The finish brings crushed stone and a salty snap.
