Costers del Priorat - Pissarres 2023

This is Costers del Priorat's top bottling, made from old-vine Garnacha and Carignan growing in that signature slate soil that makes Priorat wines so special. The nose gives you tart cherry and pomegranate with some earthy, herbal undertones, while the palate is rich and savory with a distinct mineral, almost chalky feel. There's plenty of concentrated dark fruit and structure here, but it's refined and balanced rather than over-the-top—a more elegant take on Priorat than the massive bruisers from years past. Pair it with lamb chops, a nice steak, or anything braised and hearty.
