The 2023 Chablis “Côte de Bréchain” from Domaine Testut is a beautiful young wine. The bouquet is bright, precise and complex, hopping from the glass in a mix of pear, lemon, oyster shell, chalky soil tones, just a touch of candied lemon peel and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is vibrant, full-bodied, precise and complex, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent soil signature, zesty acids and impeccable balance and grip on the long, focused and classy finish. This is first class premier cru Chablis that is already drinking with impressive generosity!
