From the team at Tertre Roteboeuf, the 2022 Domaine De L’Aurage is rocking stuff, showing black raspberries, redcurrants, vanilla, chocolate, and white chocolate aromatics. Medium to full-bodied, round, and voluptuous, with velvety tannins and a layered texture, this is a beautifully made Castillon that’s going to evolve nicely for 15+ years.

 The 2022 L'Aurage has a powerful nose with intense black cherry and raspberry scents, without the pine I observed from barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with attractive black and blue fruit, hints of white pepper and cumin. It has a precise and intense finish that retains a sense of poise. This is superb. - Neal Martin
