Les Lurets is a Pinot Noir vineyard in the commune of Volnay, in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy. Only the higher western section of the site qualifies for Volnay Premier Cru status. The majority of the vines are classified at village-level.
The property is situated at the southern end of the commune, near the border with Meursault. Soils are free-draining, shallow and pebbly
Intense, yet broad and fleshy, featuring black cherry, blackberry and mineral flavors, allied to a firm spine of acidity and tannins. Shows clarity and focus, with a chalky feel on the finish.
