Fico - Sangiovese Per Filo Toscana 2020

The 2020 Per Filo (a biodynamic and organic wine) shows some of the dry cherry skin aromas that we also saw in the Fico. I tasted this wine twice, once before bottling and a second time as a finished wine. Per Filo shows a medium dark color with bright aromas that really pop. Cassis and cherry are the protagonists, but you also get crushed stone, blue flower and candied orange peel. The wine reveals some warm-vintage richness and even sweetness over a velvety texture.
