A rare bird here, in that it is serious wine with a fun label, featuring a cartoonish car with ‘Montalcino’ license plate. Full-bodied, organic Sangiovese; it’s fresh and fruity (cranberry) with notes of dried herbs and a touch of oak. Not Chianti… it’s its own thing.
