Southern Rhone red from legendary Northen Rhone winemaker Matthieu Barret of Domaine de Coulet in Cornas. Typically, Cotes du Rhone rouge is a blend of two, three, or often more grapes. But Matthieu Barret’s is 100% Syrah – from clay and limestone dominated biodynamic vineyard. Dark berry, black pepper and smoky aromatics lead into a vibrant, structured palate. Petit Ours ('Little Bear') is Matthieu Barret's nickname; and yes, that is a teddy bear on the label.
