The Lapalus Macon Milly-Lamartine 2022 comes from a family run estate in southern Burgundy that has been certified for High Environmental Value practices since 2015. Made entirely from Chardonnay grown on clay and limestone soils, the wine is vinified in stainless steel and aged on fine lees to preserve aromatic intensity. The wine displays a bright straw yellow color with citrus and floral notes on the nose, while the palate is lively and fresh with a smooth texture and persistent finish. This is an approachable, aromatic white Burgundy that offers excellent value from the Mâconnais region.
