The 2016 Clos des Aigrots Blanc chez Lafarge has really turned out beautifully, with depth, purity and fine soil signature evident in both the nose and palate. The nose delivers a fine combination of white peach, pear, chalky minerality, bee pollen, orange blossoms and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and focused, with lovely mineral drive, a fine core, bright, zesty acids and excellent balance on the long, complex and very refined finish. Fine, fine juice. (Drink between 2020-2040)
