A wine with very fine tannins and a refined, caressing palate. Medium body. Cherry and cedar. Lovely texture to this. Consistently outstanding quality.
"Taking its concentration and intensity up a notch compared to the annata wine, the Pagliarese 2019 Chianti Classico Riserva hits a good middle ground between accessibility and pleasure. I would argue that the main character of the wine remains quite informal, but there is enough going on in terms of bouquet—with ripe cherry, smoke, tar and crushed rose—to keep your interest.
