Another stunning effort by winemaker Matt Reynvaan. This Grenache Blanc displays a medium golden lemon with a silvery rim and has an intoxicating nose of honey-coated pear, white flower blossom, wet stone, and marzipan. Bringing mouthwatering acidity, a medium to full body, and a palate that explodes with ripe flavors of white peach, honeysuckle, and just a hint of baking spice. This one should cellar nicely for the next 8-10 years.
The 2019 Grenache Blanc is pleasantly floral and rich, with crushed almonds and orchard fruits complemented by sweet baking spice. This is silky-smooth with a pleasant inner sweetness, as cooling mineral and herbal tones give way to a pleasant citrus tension. This lingers long, coating the palate with rich, near glycerol, fruits and a candied citrus resonance.
