The 2022 Etna Rosso Moganazzi has come together beautifully over the last year. This is explosive today, with a vivid mix of incense, clove and cinnamon stick that gives way to crushed blood orange and dusty black cherry notes. Its energy impresses first, washing across the palate with a soft and supple nature as depths of ripe red berry fruits slowly infuse the senses with a fresh, citrusy hint. Long and structured yet still accessible, the 2022 finishes with amazing concentration. This deserves an upgrade. - Eric Guido
