"This is aromatically cool to the point of reticence with its restrained nose of green apple, mineral reduction, just sliced lemon-lime and spice hints. The super-sleek and almost painfully intense flavors exude evident minerality on the beautifully delineated, driving and attractively dry finale. This would benefit from at least a few years of keeping in the hopes that better depth will develop but it's already lovely."-Allen Meadows

"The 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles Les Longeays, from a vineyard promoted to Premier Cru status but from the 2024 vintage, is raised in 30% oak, the rest stainless steel. It has a tightly wound crushed stone- and sea cave-scented bouquet that, like their other 2021s, will need time to open. The palate is well balanced with a tensile, lightly spiced entry and hints of grapefruit emerging with time. Fine depth and a little gras-like, I was unsurprised when Camille Thibert mentioned that it evolves almost Riesling-like notes with age. Very fine."-Neal Martin
