Trimbach - Pinot Blanc 2019

Since 1626, the Trimbach family has been promoting the history, exceptional terroirs and fine wines of Alsace. Maison Trimbach is located in Ribeauvillé, where today three generations work closely together. 

The Trimbachs have a purist vision. Across 12 generations, the family has always produced wines that are structured, long-lived, fruity, elegant and balanced: the celebrated Trimbach style. 

Bottles remain in the cellar for several years before reaching the marketplace, ensuring the wines are both ready to drink upon release but also hold great aging potential.

Where is the salad and the charcuterie? Right from the fresh pear and apple nose, through to the clean and elegant finish, this refreshing, medium-bodied Alsace dry white is spot on! A blend of 70% auxerrois and 30% pinot blanc, a classic combination for the region.

Bottled in December 2020, Trimbach's 2019 Pinot Blanc shows a clear, fresh and finely smoky aroma of ripe apples and pears. The wine is round and juicy as well as savory on the pretty potent palate, and it reveals stimulating saline acidity. Very good indeed.
