Trimbach - Pinot Blanc 2022

A beautiful dry white with stacks of ripe pear and yellow apple aromas plus hints of honeycomb and honeysuckle. Spot-on balance of restrained ripeness and spring-like freshness on the juicy palate. Just a touch of tannin deftly supports the clean, long finish. A cuvee of 70% auxerrois and 30% pinot blanc. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap.

Decanter: 91 Points

 Trimbach's basic Riesling shows the producer's long experience and know-how with the grape variety. After being handpicked, the grapes were vinified in stainless steel and bottled quickly under screwcap. The wine then aged for a year in bottle before release. It's a classic expression, youthful and fresh but with a hit of petrol on the nose as the wine starts to mature and evolve. Aromatic with juicy and tangy lime zestiness, bone dry and very moreish.
