This wine comes from two plots in Aloxe Corton comprising of 80% from La Paulards which is 5 meters from Corton Bressandes and 20% from Les Fournieres, which borders Perrieres Grand Cru. More tannic and complete than the village wine, the 1er Cru pushes into Grand Cru level fullness of body. Needs 3-4 years to flesh out and open up. The Ravauts let the wines be what they are by nature.
